Rob Reiner, the versatile writer-producer-director-actor of some of Hollywood’s most beloved romances, comedies and dramas died today at 78 along with his wife, photographer-producer Michele Singer Reiner at their Brentwood home. The deaths are being investigated as a homicide.

Reiner began his career as an actor, with parts in 'Gomer Pyle' and 'The Beverly Hillbillies,' before his breakout as Michael ‘Meathead’ Stivic in Norman Lear’s 'All in the Family.' But it was a director that Reiner made his biggest impact.

Behind the camera, Reiner was equally adept at romantic comedy ('When Harry Met Sally'), drama ('A Few Good Men'), horror ('Misery') and mockumentaries ('This Is Spinal Tap').

Additional credits by the filmmaker include 'Stand by Me,' 'The Princess Bride,' 'The American President' and 'Flipped.'

J'ai l'impression d'être la seule à être archi dubitative sur la série #LesVivants. Tout le monde se pâme et s'en émeut, c'est joué avec les pieds que c'en est perturbant, et je peux pas m'empêcher de penser que c'est un peu trop opportuniste. Bref, non merci pour moi.
