🚨 ROSTER ALERT 🚨
We've signed Tyler McKay, a former Phillies prospect and KC area native, for 2025!
Tyler has put up some serious numbers in Triple-A and we're excited to welcome him to the team!
@ocat1979@justinburch31@LouStagner@4golfonline Most can’t, and I understand that but those courses on tour with unlimited resources at their disposal have opportunities (minus uncontrolled weather) to dry out conditions and make it tougher. We were speaking to making tougher for Tour players.
@justinburch31@LouStagner@4golfonline Then firm up the courses, put a premium on hitting fairways by making rough and bunkers extremely penal for the Professionals. Making a decision that effects all players because 1% of the worlds best players are really good at their jobs doesn’t help grow the sport.
@justinburch31@LouStagner@4golfonline I don’t agree with this at all, we have one of the most captive audiences in the history of the game and growth and interest are at highs we haven’t seen. To do this now and make the game harder for amateurs and less entertaining to watch seems like the backwards thing to do.
Mike Whan (CEO of the USGA):
"We are living in the low 190s [for ball speed]"
This year there's 34,081 measured tee shots with driver.
306 have a ball speed of 190+ mph.
Less than 1% of drives are 190+mph and Whan thinks we are living in the low 190s. Huh?
