36 oz bat. Over load/ under load bats often used to help increase bat speed and exit velocity but are also a good tool to help develop barrel awareness and adjustability. @DrivelineBB has some good info on this.
There’s more than one way to do it. It’s not about which one is best. Its about whatever is right for a particular situation. Based on the pitcher’s time, catcher’s time, and your speed.
To help some players get the feel of efficiently turning the pelvis I like these cues: turn away from the back leg, or try to treat the back leg/ foot like an anchor as you rotate.
