Poucos sabem mas esse motor da NASA não queima combustível como os normais. Ele funciona por detonação rotatória, ou seja, uma sequência de explosões supersônicas contínuas que giram em círculos. Isso gera muito mais empuxo gastando uma fração do combustível tradicional.
