@originvlr@gobbyvlr@GibsonCasts I appreciate that lol. I definitely think valorant has strategic depth at the top level, but I just don’t think it’s as deep as siege. But Val requires more gunskill as well, imo.
@originvlr@gobbyvlr@GibsonCasts Right, I agree on that. Operators countering one another. But being able to change the map and pick between 4 different sets of bomb sites on every map provides more depth than static maps. It’s like playing a new map every round. Now add operator interaction on top of that.
@originvlr@gobbyvlr@GibsonCasts “To some extent”
I promise you, being able to shoot through some walls is not the same as being able to fully open walls and floors, reinforce walls and floors, have gadgets that play around the breaching and denial of breaching on said reinforced walls and floors.
@gobbyvlr@GibsonCasts Someone who casts and watches lots of a sport isn’t qualified? Is a NFL broadcaster not qualified to talk on the complexities of the game compared to another game? Same for soccer or baseball? I don’t have to be a former NFL player to tell you that it’s more complex than NBA.
@gobbyvlr@GibsonCasts R6 has 77 unique gadgets, maps with soft walls that can be reinforced or destroyed, hard walls that can’t, stairs, soft floors and ceilings for vertical play, hard floors, attacker rappelling, hatches that allow you to move between floors. Maps alone make it more complex.
@MercuryRains@Shadzey1@bankingslut I’m not saying we should go buy them new apartments in the current market, I’m saying stick them in a gym with a bunch of cots. Median pay is as much as an O-7 with 14 years of experience. (That’s a BAH rate of $4071 no dependents, $4770 with) so yes half as expensive both ways.
@MercuryRains@Shadzey1@bankingslut For an entire house/family home yes. Most service members have family, that’s why BAH is offered. Communal living spaces like barracks meant to house large groups of just troops are 100% cheaper than family houses. They don’t need houses and they don’t need to bring their family.
@MercuryRains@Shadzey1@bankingslut You’re so close.. $2,400 for OFF BASE housing. The DoD didn’t buy or build existing housing at the current real estate prices or current land prices. Meaning placing them in already established housing would be much cheaper than the current rates.
@MercuryRains@Shadzey1@bankingslut E-1 gets more in BAH than $1600/month in DC. They’d be cutting their costs in half or more by your estimate. This doesn’t even include the officer table.
@MercuryRains@Shadzey1@bankingslut It would not be more expensive to house them. The military does dorms and barracks because they are cheaper, not more expensive.
@MercuryRains@Shadzey1@bankingslut To be honest I don’t care if they have to maintain two residences. They don’t care about the interests of Americans. They are public servants, not royalty or nobility. Give em a dorm or barracks for all I care.
@MercuryRains@Shadzey1@bankingslut “The poor congressmen aren’t being paid enough!!! They need to be paid more for working half the year and doing nothing but bickering at one another and making Americans lives worse! They don’t have enough they need more! We must give them more!”
@Manuel_msqda@RGIII@TitleTalkTCL Thank you, Manuel Mosqueda, keyboard warrior anonymous Andy hiding behind a generic pfp with 41 followers. I’m sure former NFL Quarterback RG3 will be greatly moved by your comment. Your hiding behind a twitter account isn’t at all an indication of low self esteem or self worth.
