O'Leary made the same promises in Alberta that he's making in Utah. This project launched with the same pitch - jobs, growth, minimal impact. Here's the reality two years in: construction pushed back to 2028, an agriculture region already in drought now fighting for its water supply, and emissions projections so severe researchers say it could set Alberta's environmental gains back 20 years.
Now he wants to do the same thing here, next to a Great Salt Lake already 6.1 feet below its minimum healthy level. 3,000+ Utahns already said no. It's time our leaders listened.

Listen to someone you think may have nothing in common with you. Order the steak rare. Eat an oyster. Have a negroni. Have two. Be open to a world where you may not understand or agree with the person next to you, but have a drink with them anyways. Eat slowly. Tip your server. Check in on your friends. Check in on yourself. Enjoy the ride." (Ht Jamieson Faulcon)
@eboundsy Life good! Moved out to Utah for grad school and planted myself here for now. Glad to see you guys are killing it at North Oconee, a well deserving group of coaches. Tell the others I say hello!
