@teslaownersSV The First Law of thermodynamics still applies. EVs don’t create energy. They just move the combustion, mining, transmission losses, battery chemistry, and entropy somewhere else. Autonomy is software. Thermodynamics is physics. @elonmusk@Tesla
@joinHandshake I am extremely disappointed with my experience working through Handshake.
You are invited to a project, complete the screening, interviews, onboarding, Zoom meetings, and training, then spend hours learning the project requirements and completing assigned work. After all of that, projects can suddenly be paused, removed, or closed without the work being paid.
Payment has also been a recurring issue. In my experience, payments are often lower than expected, with no clear explanation. Many tasks are reviewed outside the platform or discussed through Slack or other direct communication channels, which makes the process even less transparent. Even when reviewers provide positive feedback on submitted work, the final payment does not always reflect the agreed task rate or the work completed.
Most recently, I was paid only about one-tenth of what I believe I was owed. After I raised a payment inquiry, my account was deactivated without a clear explanation, and my remaining earnings were withheld.
I am posting this here because email communication has not led to any meaningful answer. The replies I receive are generic, almost bot-like, and they do not appear to address the actual issue. It feels as if no one is reading the details or taking responsibility for explaining what happened.
So I am asking directly: is this legal, Handshake?
I completed the screening process, attended meetings, spent significant time learning the project, worked on assigned tasks, and submitted work in good faith. I deserve a clear explanation of why I was underpaid, why my account was deactivated after I questioned the payment, and what will happen to the earnings still owed to me.
Please provide a written explanation and a full accounting of the payments connected to my completed and pending work.
