Trudeau's blatant hypocrisy with few parallels:
* Defended Indian farmers' right to blockade highways but declared national emergency in Canada to quash peaceful blockades.
* Called ordinary Canadian protesters Nazis and later honored a real Nazi.
* Allowed Canadian Sikh militants to erect billboards advocating the killing of Indian diplomats and stage a parade float on which Indira Gandhi's assassination was re-enacted. But now deplores Canadian Islamists celebrating Hamas's terror offensive.
Most of India is probably wondering how this squares w/ Ottawa citing free speech when Khalistani extremists in Canada celebrate the assassination of an Indian PM & the bombing of a passenger jet, & call for violence vs the Indian mission & diplomats in Canada and beyond...
In 2020, Trudeau cheered on farmers blockading highways near New Delhi. But while defending protesters’ rights half a world away, Trudeau declared a national emergency in Canada last year to quash blockades of Canadians peacefully protesting his vaccination policy. The stunning hypocrisy has not been forgotten in New Delhi. @globeandmail https://t.co/gfKIR23HU8
Read below - "at least 23 terrorists and arms smugglers who are under protection of the Trudeau regime … It is Justin Trudeau’s Canada that should be in the dock for interference against India and not the other way round."

Well said, "While Trudeau accuses India of interfering in internal affairs, he is blind to Canada based gangster Arsh Dalla, who took responsibility for gunning down Congress leader and Ajitwal block president Baljinder Singh Balli in Moga district of Punjab on Monday."

a massive amount of highly confidential and unredacted Microsoft docs have leaked as part of the FTC v. Microsoft case. They were attached to a single file and incorrectly hidden and posted publicly. A huge error that has led to a giant leak. More to come.
Canada and India are friends, not foes. But Trudeau, with his political alliance with Sikh radicals in Canada, has brought bilateral ties with India under increasing strain. After being chastised by Modi during his recent New Delhi visit for being soft on Sikh terrorists, Trudeau claims there are “credible allegations” of a "potential" India link to the killing of a Canada-based Sikh extremist.
Three months after the killing, no one has been charged. Nor did Trudeau say who his government believes carried out the killing. But his unproven allegation, by sparking tit-for-tat expulsions of diplomats, will likely bring Canada-India relations to a new low.
In the inner recesses of the Indian strategic establishment it is recognized that all this pressure from the West - on India’s domestic politics, territorial integrity, foreign policy - will simply vanish the day India makes an irrevocable choice to join the collective West as a vassal state. Strategic independence comes with costs that must be tolerated.

Congrats to @rpragchess—and to his mother. As someone whose proud mama accompanied me to every event, it's a special kind of support! The Chennai Indian defeated two New York cowboys! He has been very tenacious in difficult positions.
What a wonderful feeling it must be for Pragg. All of 16, and to have beaten the experienced & decorated Magnus Carlsen, and that too while playing black, is magical!
Best wishes on a long & successful chess career ahead. You’ve made India proud!

The film "Oppenheimer" may be a global box-office success but, on the 78th anniversary of Hiroshima's destruction, it is worth remembering that J. Robert Oppenheimer said that the atomic bomb was used “against an essentially defeated enemy.”
Worse still, just three days later, a nuclear bomb was dropped on Nagasaki, despite indications that Japan was ready to surrender.
The dual atomic bombings were driven more by a perceived techno-political imperative than a military imperative. By dropping an untested uranium bomb on Hiroshima and then nuking Nagasaki with a plutonium bomb that had been secretly tested in the New Mexico desert 24 days earlier, the U.S. sought to globally demonstrate its unmatched destructive power.
