@hannahswiv I've had this problem many times! The answer is to get the pdf version and then you can search it. Annoyingly, this book is only available on electronic legal deposit, but if you really need the reference, you can get it on the library workstation computers.

@FrDidymus It would be better. Briefly. After that, it would be much, much worse. In the end, centralised organisations/leaders loose touch and fail to innovate or respond. Currently change can start from the grassroots as well as the leadership.

@OurCofELike There is an elderly man in a wheelchair who sits two rows behind me in church. He is wheeled in and out but never turned around when we all turn to face the cross and the exit at the end. I always think he must feel excluded from the sending out.

My eldest brought home the volcano she made with friends at school today. Apparently they had to draw straws for who would get it and she "won". It's a great volcano. I'm very proud. But wtf do I do with it? As you can see, it's massive.

I've just finished reading "The Sisters of Sinai" by Janet Soskice. Now I just want to curl up in a ball and cry. Resisting it bravely as I'm on the train. Did it have that affect on anyone else?
