Several anti-regime protesters were killed, injured and arrested in Yangon's Kyimyindaing Township on Sunday when soldiers rammed and opened fires on protesters.

"I got hit and fell down in front of a truck. A soldier beat me with his rifle but I defended and pushed him back. Then he immediately shot at me as I ran away in a zig-zag pattern. Fortunately, I escaped," a protester told @Reuters by phone.

This is a very dangerous act in Myanmar now. Members of the terrorists military council enter the classroom with full weapons and allow children to touch and try these weapons. Children can become acquainted with armed conflict and become motivated to become part of it.

If @ASEAN is actively undermining us in UN General Assembly, we urge @NUGMyanmar to tell the international community to drop ASEAN centrality. We should also think about leaving ASEAN for good.
Weโve been pleading to impose Air Embargo since before this many of lives havenโt been cruelly killed. Now at this point, does @ASEAN think we should still need to be killed or they lack sympathy while weโre confronting brutal injustice hard. Could we be any more disappointed ?
