State-of-the-Art Control Room at Swasthya Bhawan

Taking a decisive step toward a transparent and broker-free healthcare system in West Bengal, today a High-Tech Control Room has been inaugurated at the Swasthya Bhawan.
This facility will serve as the central hub for monitoring all Government Hospitals across the State in real-time.
Our mission is clear: to eliminate the menace of the "Dalal Raj" that has plagued our Hospitals for too long.

Through advanced surveillance and analytical monitoring, we will now track unusual activities and patterns within hospital premises. If individuals are found loitering without purpose or cause, they will be promptly identified and dealt with according to the law.
To further ensure safety & security of Healthcare Professionals & Patients and to streamline Hospital Operations, we are introducing a new Badge System, so that People can clearly be identified and segregated as per their their purpose in the vicinity.
By segregating the crowd, we will easily distinguish those who have no business being on Hospital premises.

I have personally visited several Hospitals and witnessed the dedicated service of our Doctors, Nurses and Health Workers. They deserve a safe, secure and professional environment. We are committed to provide that.
This is a significant shift toward a safer, technology-driven and patient-centric Healthcare system for the people of West Bengal.

এখন থেকে, আপনারা সম্পূর্ণ 'বিনামূল্যে' অনলাইনে আপনাদের খতিয়ান এবং জমির দাগের তথ্যের ডিজিটালি স্বাক্ষরিত কপি ডাউনলোড করতে পারবেন।
এই ডিজিটাল জমির রেকর্ডগুলি পাওয়ার জন্য কোনওরকম আবেদন ফি বা প্রমাণীকরণ ফি (authentication fees) লাগবে না। এই পদক্ষেপের ফলে রাজ্যজুড়ে সমস্ত জমির মালিক বিশেষত কৃষকরা সরাসরি উপকৃত হবেন।

Today I met our dedicated WBCS Officers at the Dhandhanya Auditorium in Kolkata and would like to thank them all for felicitating me.
The West Bengal Civil Service Officers are the backbone of our State's Administration. Day in and day out, their tireless efforts at the grassroots level ensure that the benefits of our welfare schemes reach every household and every individual across West Bengal.

In this first direct interaction with the WBCS fraternity since taking charge, my message to the Administration was absolutely clear: Our Government will never use them for political interests, nor will we turn our Officers into political cadres during elections. We are committed to restoring an apolitical, neutral and fearless Administrative framework in West Bengal.
I understand that in the past, under an environment of fear and immense pressure, Administrative discipline was severely compromised. We must break free from that culture. Our Government guarantees full respect for professional dignity, seniority and experience of the Officers.
Our sole priority must be the welfare of the People, without any political bias or division. There is no "this side or that side".
Moving forward, we will also prioritize Cooperative Federalism with the Centre to ensure that development projects are implemented smoothly.

আজ জোকায় অবস্থিত ভারত সেবাশ্রম সংঘের হাসপাতালে একটি অত্যাধুনিক নিউরো আইসিইউ (Neuro ICU) ইউনিটের উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত থাকতে পেরে আমি অত্যন্ত আনন্দিত।

সর্বদা নিঃস্বার্থ মানবসেবায় নিবেদিত প্রতিষ্ঠান হিসেবে ভারত সেবাশ্রম সংঘ সারা দেশের মধ্যে উজ্জ্বল দৃষ্টান্ত স্থাপন করতে সক্ষম হয়েছে। ধর্ম রক্ষা করতে গিয়ে আক্রান্ত ও রাজনৈতিক হিংসায় আক্রান্তদের সেবাদান করেছে এই হাসপাতাল। বিশেষত দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনায় পূর্বে রাজনৈতিক হিংসার ঘটনায় অনেকে আক্রান্ত হয়েছিলেন। সেই সব আক্রান্তদের জন্য সরকারি ও বেসরকারি হাসপাতালের দরজা বন্ধ করে দেওয়া হয়েছিল। সেই সময় ভারত সেবাশ্রম সংঘ আক্রান্তদের সেবাদান করেছে।

এই অত্যাধুনিক নিউরো আইসিইউ (Neuro ICU) ইউনিট রাজ্যের স্বাস্থ্য পরিকাঠামোকে আরও সমৃদ্ধ করবে এবং স্নায়ুর রোগে আক্রান্ত সাধারণ মানুষের জন্য চিকিৎসার দিগন্ত বিস্তৃত করবে। রাজ্যের স্বাস্থ্যব্যবস্থাকে উন্নত করার লক্ষ্যে তাঁদের এই নিরলস প্রচেষ্টা সত্যিই প্রশংসনীয়।

সংঘের পূজনীয় সন্ন্যাসীগণ, নিবেদিতপ্রাণ চিকিৎসক, নার্স এবং হাসপাতালের সমগ্র প্রশাসনিক আধিকারিক দলকে আমার আন্তরিক অভিনন্দন ও গভীর কৃতজ্ঞতা জানাই। এই হাসপাতাল যাতে আরও উন্নত হয় তার জন্যে রাজ্য সরকার সমস্ত রকম সহযোগিতা করবে।
এই নতুন পরিষেবা যেন বহু মানুষের জীবন রক্ষা ও সুস্থ করে তোলার মাধ্যম হয়ে ওঠে। 🙏

Today I met 12 bright & young IAS Probationers of the 2025 West Bengal Cadre.
These young Officers are currently undergoing their training at the Netaji Subhas Administrative Training Institute (NSATI), after which they will head out for their crucial 1-year District Training to understand the grassroots reality of our state.
During our interaction, I was deeply heartened by their immense enthusiasm, energy and unyielding vigour to serve the people of West Bengal. I encouraged them to always keep the welfare of the common citizen at the center of their Administrative decisions and to work with absolute integrity, empathy and dedication.
The future of West Bengal’s Administration is in capable hands.
My best wishes to all of them as they embark on this noble journey of Public Service.
