Today is the start of our 10 week developement course for our Engineers. We will spend 8 hours each week teaching how to calculate formulas for nozzle pressure and making sure we have qualified drivers for our fire trucks!

In late afternoon heat on the first day of August, crews battled a debris fire that had spread to a vacant home. One of our newest firefighters helped to put out the blaze! Thanks to Jack and all the crews for their quick response!

Crews from our fire station 1 are on scene of a two vehicle accident on Pecos rd between Cooper and McQueen. One of the vehicles rolled over but we are happy to report that all occupants are injury free. Stay safe and remember to wear your seatbelt! #buckleup
Chandler & Gilbert firefighters on scene of a working attic fire near Lindsey & Hunt Hwy. The structure has been cleared of occupants and they are working on bringing the fire under control.
Firefighters lend a helping hand to free this cute little German shepherd puppy from the drainage portion of a residential block wall. Bella and her owner are doing fine.
Firefighters on scene of a debris fire on the exterior of large commercial structure near Frye & Hamilton. Fire has been extinguished with no threat to interior. Firefighters remain on scene checking for hot spots. No injuries reported.
Firefighters responded to a drowning call near Dobson & Elliot Rd. 2 year old male pulled from water by mother. Child was crying and breathing normally when fire arrived. Patient was transported to Cardon's children's hospital for evaluation.
Dedication, ribbon cutting, and open house of Chandler Fire station 11 is now underway. The open house will continue through 12:00 noon. Fire Station 11 is located at 4200 S. Gilbert Rd.
Firefighters on scene of a car fire on San Tan Loop 202 & Alma School Rd. This was a single vehicle rollover accident with one patient in serious condition. Patient transported to CRMC trauma center.
