@Rxtrq@RippleyRippley@EndWokeness Oh no, not the flag code! Anything but violating the prescious flag code! There are no other pressing issues in the country other than protecting the flag code!
@TreasureLooker @jamesshewmaker @hankgreen You are talking about the legal difference of publishers vs platforms, the government has everything to do with that lmao
@SimBreezay @JimWilc81583352 @Richardwies1990@POTUS They wouldnt be able to just cut cost that drastically, most would just shut down. So colleges would shut down left and right and we'd lose our educated masses. I just hope we still do well in the global economy, I wonder how other countries who don't invest in education do?
@olowyn @urbanbohemian So you do extra work for your employer just so they might give you a bonus at the end of the year? Sounds like you're getting ripped off honestly lol
@southernnerd84 @Richardwies1990 @JimWilc81583352 @POTUS And like I said, if a college wants to receive federal funding the colleges would have to follow the federal rules. Its exactly why colleges follow the federal Title IX law. So if a college follows the federal cap, the students would get loan forgiveness.
@southernnerd84 @Richardwies1990 @JimWilc81583352 @POTUS If the state caps the price of tuition, how would the college raise prices to build the new fancy building?
@southernnerd84 @Richardwies1990 @JimWilc81583352 @POTUS All colleges accept federal funding through Federal Pell grants and any college accepting those funds need to follow the federal govt rule's. That's why college need to follow Title IX. Whatever system that they put in place could do the same with capping costs to students.

@worldgoingby@VNacov@the_doc_p That $6000 is only tuition, room and board are the main cost. With fees, room, board and tuition one year a small SUNY school is roughly $22,870.00. Link below for reference.

@weezard0f0z@Blankman1138@mynbc15 Ah yes, every gang or Mafia member owns a mansion or penthouse. How could I forget lol.
The low level members of those orgs are poor and join these orgs to pay for food, shelter, water. If the low level members have no reason to join, the mansion owners don't have any power.
@weezard0f0z@Blankman1138@mynbc15 If we provided basic needs (food, water, shelter, meds and education), then those organizations wouldn't get members. People join those groups because they feel like they have to.
I'm also not suggesting we do this overnight. It would be a long process but we don't need cops.
@ryan_nellis The cold cheese is there to help prevent the drunk college students from burning their mouths on slices after the bar. I get one from time to time but they are definitely not meant to be a sober food.
@weezard0f0z@Blankman1138@mynbc15 So the only thing stopping you from commiting crime is the police? Projection much.
If we reallocate the funds from police to social services then most crime stops being committed.
@weezard0f0z@AngelaKJones@Blankman1138@mynbc15 I never said I was defending the FBI, it's blatantly obvious that they need to be disbanded. Local can steal your possession, kill your pets and murder people sleeping in their beds without any legal issues. They also need to be disbanded.
@weezard0f0z@AngelaKJones@Blankman1138@mynbc15 Local, State and Fed law enforcement all serve the same purpose of protecting capital and keeping the lower economic class down. They are all just "government agencies that attack citizens", theyre just different sizes.
@weezard0f0z@AngelaKJones@Blankman1138@mynbc15 Isn't using tear gas against foreign soldiers considered a war crime? Our local and state law enforcement get away with using it on civilians because of a technicality, they aren't any better.
@PurePragmatism@KristiCCoulter@CallieKhouri Interesting that the minority of framers who owned slaves were able to keep slavery legal then. You'd think these abolitionist would be able to actually get it done since they were in the majority at the time.
