This sweet family stopped by our classroom today to teach us about holiday traditions in Guam. Their daughter talks about Guam all the time. We learned about coconut candy, coconut trees, gifts at midnight, and beach days. @SCUCISD @SippelStallions

I always knew we had extra special students ⁦@SippelStallions⁩, but today I was taken back by the fact that these grandparents flew in from Guam and drove overnight from Mississippi just to celebrate with us today!

@lori_pevoto Yes! I say this when I parent cooper: “be brave enough to not be perfect.” He needs to know why I need forgiveness, grace, and see how i keep trying. The same is true with our students: let them see you fail.
