These #ClimateClock is drawing our attention to the urgency for action. But if our species is to survive, we need a constant, public reminder of our climate Deadline & solution Lifelines. We are in #ClimateEmergency but there is time to avert disaster with bold & immediate steps.
WRONG SPACING = POOR HARVEST
Plant spacing plays a critical role in crop productivity. Adjusting spacing correctly can significantly improve yield, resource use efficiency, and overall plant performance.
For crops like tomatoes and bell peppers, moderate spacing such as 60 cm and 30 cm respectively allows better canopy development while maximizing plant population per unit area. Similarly, lettuce performs well at closer spacing (around 15 cm), enabling a denser and more productive harvest.
Root crops like carrots benefit from uniform grid spacing rather than wide rows, as this promotes efficient use of soil nutrients and space. Bush beans also perform better under closer grid spacing, which enhances ground cover and reduces weed pressure.
Fast-growing crops like radishes can be broadcast sown instead of planted in rows, allowing for higher plant density and quicker harvest cycles.
Optimized spacing helps suppress weeds, conserve soil moisture, and increase total yield per area. Smart spacing is a simple but powerful strategy for maximizing garden productivity
Water quality is one of the most important factors when growing with aeroponic towers. We start with purified water using reverse osmosis, then properly dose nutrients to maintain a consistent pH, EC, and TDS across all crops. We use the same nutrient mix, dosage, and irrigation cycles regardless of what we are growing. That is what makes aeroponic towers so powerful. Unlike traditional hydroponics, where nutrients often need to be adjusted per crop, here the system stays the same, whether it is tomatoes, cabbage, lettuce, or over 160 other crops. This works because the roots spend around 80% of their time in the air and are only intermittently irrigated about 20% of the time. So instead of being constantly submerged, plants absorb exactly what they need, when they need it.
A “Canadian well” is an underground pipe system that uses the earth’s stable temperature (about 8–15°C) to pre-condition air. In winter, it warms incoming air, and in summer, it cools it.

Today is International Snow Leopard Day. Pakistan is home to these beautiful mountain cats in Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral. Let’s protect them and keep our mountains wild and alive.
Remarkable success in our environmental efforts.
Following CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif's directive, the first anti-smog gun operation in Kahna, Lahore, has reduced the Air Quality Index (AQI) from 666 to 170. This 70% decrease in air pollution has been scientifically analyzed & confirmed by our advanced environmental monitoring system. Our commitment to utilizing modern technology to combat smog and safeguard citizens' health remains absolute.
