HR can be far too transactional. And if we will serve purely as the paper pushers of an organization, leaders believe we should be outsourced to eliminate the expense. We must serve as the thought leaders about all things HR, People, and Culture.
HR is being down sized for some reasons:
1. HR has been reluctant to embrace DEI. Relegating DEI to a toothless, powerless, marginalized unit within our division is not working; it’s profoundly problematic for companies and underrepresented employees alike.
