i think medical staff see how retail workers talk about slacking off and rushing out when their shift ends (which is fine idgaf) but they try to make posts w the same attitude and like…. you cannot be acting like this if peoples lives depend on how well u do at work
There’s a woman in my building who waters her plants every evening at exactly 6:30.
I used to think she just liked routine.
One day the power went out in the whole block and we all ended up outside. Someone mentioned her husband and she casually said, “Oh, he passed three years ago.”
Apparently 6:30 was when he used to come home from work.
She still waters the plants at that time because that’s when she used to hear his keys at the door.
She said it once, very normally:
“You don’t stop expecting the sound. You just stop hearing it.”
Then the lights came back on and she went upstairs.
Next evening, 6:30, she was there again. Same balcony. Same watering can.
That kind of sadness isn’t loud. It just keeps time.
This isn’t dramatic. It’s the kind of thing you don’t even realize is heavy until later.
The first person Jesus revealed himself to after resurrecting was a hoe but you think you too good to be in love with one. Jesus’s absolute favorite person was a hoe. You think you better than jesus?
believing that donald trump and his billionaire friends want the best for you as an average american citizen is like thinking the stripper really likes you
I saw someone say the art of conversation is so lost that people have started mistaking it for love and that’s sooo real. I be having good conversations with men they often think it’s me flirting and I genuinely be confused like have you never just had a deep platonic convo??
