At 11 a.m. this morning, Thai armed forces, accompanied by heavy machinery such as excavators, entered An Ses area in Cambodian sovereign territory, and even laid barbed wire, despite strong objections from our forces. It is also worth noting that Cambodia recently arranged a visit by foreign military attachés to those locations on July 30, 2025, clearly demonstrating that these areas are part of Cambodian sovereign territory.

This act constitutes a flagrant violation of the ceasefire and poses a grave threat to peace and security along the border between the two countries, as well as to the wider region. Cambodia calls on the international community — particularly partner countries that have worked tirelessly to help achieve this hard-won ceasefire and wish to see it fully and effectively implemented — to demand that Thailand immediately stop its aggressive actions and strictly respect international law, especially Cambodia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The achievement of the remarkable initiative by His Excellency Donald Trump has saved the lives of tens of thousands of people from the Cambodia–Thailand war.

First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to His Excellency President Donald Trump for his visionary initiative in creating a ceasefire and peace between Cambodia and Thailand. This initiative is a tremendous achievement that has helped save countless lives in both Cambodia and Thailand. I would also like to thank His Excellency Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, who helped organize the meeting venue and facilitated this ceasefire agreement. This ceasefire and peace agreement is yielding positive and effective results.

I would also like to express my gratitude to our Chinese friends for their support, as well as to all friendly nations that have endorsed this ceasefire agreement. I also wish to thank the people of Cambodia and Thailand, along with both nations’ armed forces, for their steadfast support of this peace process.
