It is perfectly normal to support the same team/individuals or even uphold the same values and still have two completely different takes. It’s healthy. That does not make me your adversary. I simply happen to have an alternative view.

One reason many people struggle to grow, or remain stuck in certain areas of life, is because these simple distinctions elude them. It shows every other week through different lenses and levels of awareness.

Sure, some opinions are ridiculous, and others are outright outlandish. Sometimes they are hidden in banter. Do not take everything personally. That is life. Two people can look at the same thing and arrive at different conclusions.

You do not need to sucker-punch someone or go low simply because their line of thought differs from yours. Smart people do not need to do that. Unintelligent people do.

Emotionally intelligent people understand that, whether their own view is ultimately right or wrong, an alternative perspective gives them something they can add to, subtract from, challenge, or reconsider.

That is how you win at 80% of things in life.
