Irritated by the news. Nurses have always put patients first, held hands as they die & done this professionally. This is not new. What do the media think we do?! Nurses are highly trained professionals, combining expertise with compassion; emotional labour has always been there.

Well that's it...The end of an era. My final ever piece of academic work of my nursing degree submitted 😲😁 Tomorrow I begin my first job as a band 4 student nurse. Just awaiting my pin number to finally get my name on the register and qualify as a registered nurse👩‍⚕️✨
