@MelissaLMRogers What would your solution be, without cutting social programs? These programs are at the core of Canada always has been for the 40+ years I have been around. Maybe restrict stuff but can't take away... How do you solve it?

@AndrewScheer No politicians give a crap about Canadians. It is all for show to get power and money. If it wasn't they would be limited to no stock trading and median income of the country/region they are voted in for Period. That way they want a raise they need to fight to bring the nation up

@MissJo72 Stop buying so much... Tariffs, fees, nothing can eliminate the deficits if you buy more then you sell and you can't expect a population 1/10 the size to purchase more then you. Unless you want to isolate

@AndrewScheer My opinion has always wanted joint effort but agree we need to diversify purchases and investment instead of one source much like stocks and such. Also not going to give up options to satisfy a deal that could hurt long term. Selling resources worldwide?

@Annans4g Oh I don't attack him for the current government, but I will say I don't trust any politician currently holding office in any aspect of Canada, they crave power and power favours to get there. Plain and simple and those favors need to be paid back

But I also agree we need to diversify out investment and growth.
More deals and access to EU resources, AI, Arctic defense, infrastructure. That I could agree with but I refused to give up our own governing body. We need to do better.

@GuntherEagleman Then play fair as well... What people don't explain that these Tariffs go both ways and were negotiated under direction of trump and the administration the first time. No one was holding anyone hostage... But some Americans seem to portray it that way..

@MelissaLMRogers I don't hate America... I think they got scammed for a leader... Not a big fan of Carney but Pollieve rubs me the wrong way. Maybe with a different leader at the top I would consider a Conservative gov

@Tablesalt13 American service shows Lake America, on Canada side it shows Ontario. In TO depending where you are or along the border you could get either.
