CENTCOM says six of seven ballistic missiles were intercepted, a seventh missed its target, and four one-way attack drones were taken down before threatening maritime traffic.

It bans Jehovah’s Witnesses, labels other Protestants “extremist,” restricts evangelism via the Yarovaya law, privileges the Moscow Patriarchate, and in occupied Ukraine has raided churches, destroyed hundreds of houses of worship, and targeted independent Orthodox and Protestant leaders.

Israel grants its Christian citizens full religious freedom, protects holy sites, and maintains one of the region’s few stable Christian populations. Sporadic spitting or harassment by fringe ultra-Orthodox individuals in Jerusalem is real but condemned by Israeli authorities and is not state policy.

Between the two, the gap is clear.
