America is the greatest country on earth, and no, it doesn’t need an asterisk to caveat all the problems we have, past or present. It’s just a true statement as is. If you disagree with this, then you are just a jaded contrarian faggot. But that’s okay, because I have good news: You can use America’s 250th birthday as the perfect opportunity to stop, even if it’s just for today.
Go spend time with your family. See your friends. Grill something. Set off fireworks. I know this is an extremely hot rightwing take in 2026, but: The Country Is Not Actually Over. No, not every street corner is filled with unhoused Haitian migrants who are cooking dog meat over a shopping cart in the trunk of your stolen Kia. Yes, of course that exact thing is happening somewhere in the U.S. right now, but overall America is still really cool and good, if you’re not ideologically committed to ignoring it. You don’t have to pretend everything is fine, but you also do not have to log on here and act like a blackpilled panican slave (no offense to half of my mutuals). I know you don’t want to hear this, but things right now are actually better for us than they’ve ever been in our lifetime.
I’m sorry you had to find out this way, but your retarded dramatic doomerpost about how EVERYTHING FREAKIN' SUCKS!!! isn’t redpilled political insight. Believe it or not, saying "My Children No Longer Have A Country” on Twitter doesn’t actually fix anything. It simply trains you and your audience to believe that defeat is inevitable, and, more importantly, just makes you sound like a totally impotent cuck who is giving people permission to surrender. The truth is that our problems will likely take decades to solve, and if your only contribution is going to be sitting online and declaring everything is hopeless, then you might as well just kill yourself now, because you let yourself become another demoralized victim of the algorithm that has mindraped you to death with despair-porn from [Account Based In South Asia].
What makes it worse is that you think you are immune to manipulation because you don’t consume (((Mainstream Media))), but your worldview is being shaped just as aggressively by third-world engagement farmers and low-IQ conspiratards. Unfortunately, you stand no chance against the forces guiding your worldview because the real problem is personality type: emotionally reactive, addicted to grievance, and unable to navigate the modern information environment. The ideology is almost secondary. If 3 years ago the For You Page started feeding you progressive woketard content, you would be scheduling your bottom-surgery right now instead of posting about how all the digits in Erika Kirk’s license plate add up to 666 or whatever.
Because of this, you have become indistinguishable from every dark woke anti-American irony leftist who has usernames like Marx Wahlberg. You are not more based than a normie Republican Trumptard because all of the positions you diverge from the MAGA base on is something every transsexual prison-abolitionist DSA candidate already believes in. No, America isn’t a vassal state of Israel being run by Rabbi ZOGnald Drumpf. No, we aren’t The Great Satan arresting people for free speech at the Epstein Empire State Building. And no, the country isn’t over. If your phone didn’t have an internet connection, you would never have thought of any of these things.
So, I am begging you to just be normal today, and appreciate what a blessing it is to be an American. God has providentially given this land to us. It is good that this country exists. It is good that generations before us built, fought for, and preserved something worth inheriting. Don’t spend today trying to prove that you are the one person brave enough to hate the 4th of July, and how that makes you the Real True Patriot in the room, because we all think it’s embarrassing and we talk about how gay you sound in private group chats.
America is not beyond saving, and it’s not reducible to whatever hysterical version of reality gets pumped into your feed every day by ragebait slop accounts. Instead of making some performative post about how you can’t celebrate the United States Semiquincentennial because we’re a homosexual brown hellscape, you should go outside and look around. There is beauty everywhere and there are people worth knowing. Our land is still here, our people are still here, and we will have our home again, with or without your help because, like I said, you are just kind of a huge worthless faggot.
250 years, and your empire has been reduced to a single island the size of Michigan, with a GDP barely higher than Mississippi, the poorest of our fifty states.
Enjoy your warm beer in that unairconditioned old pub.
Don’t talk too much shit online though, you might get arrested.
Awful scenes in #Belfast. A gang of masked men painted a tunnel onto a brick wall and waved a Sudanese family through it. The family drove directly into the wall and staggered away accordion-shaped. What is happening to our city?
This isn't even just a boomer problem, this is a universal problem that occurs every time someone gives advice about something they've never done. I've done it, everyone I know has done it at some point, everyone you know has done it, and you've done it to other people too.
Giving advice on something you know nothing about is one of the most satisfying pleasures on earth while simultaneously being one of the most vapid flatulent acts of microharm you could commit. It's the foundation for why YahooAnswers was so popular before those people figured out they could make Reddit accounts and do creative writing all day for baseless life plans applied as errant comments to helpless rubes begging for advice from the vacuous abyss.
Much like how poker players win the WSOP or make a bag off a Vegas side game just to lose everything doing continuous five figure wagers on holes of golf or sports betting, the folly of competence is the delusion that your moderately higher level of expertise translates to some universal tautology of wisdom.
The harm comes into play when some poor bastard takes your stupid advice over drinks at the bar and suddenly develops a half-assed life plan built around the certainty, simplicity, and competence delivered through a tone of voice which could only be generated by the confidence of an ignorant retard.
It's easy to make fun of Dave Ramsay's bald headed frumpy frowned conveyance of genius boomer wisdom, a fantasy that was delusional even during the heyday of young white hustlers doing power washing gigs to fund their SEO optimization service dropship marketing grifts, or the handwash presumptuous assuredness that "learning code" is a magic ticket to a free high-paying job. OR even that "learning code" is some kind of prerequisite you have to pay $10,000 to "pass" instead of being an ongoing skillset that only ever really rewarded full stack developers who were willing to dedicate the rest of their lives to constantly learning languages, tools, and software in an industry that constantly changes faster than any one human can keep up with.
Aside from the obvious compensationary apocalypse of being shouldered out of these industries by Mexicans and Indians today, machines and LLM's tomorrow, the sin of Dave Ramsay's ignorance is a sin all of us have committed, albeit at a smaller scale and in a less monetized fashion. It's easy to mock something so obviously wrong and out of touch, but it's not so elementary to analyze your own life and figure out what other stupid fucking advice that may have passed through your filters.
Advice is tricky because most people process it as a conveyance of information, rather than what it truly is: An alignment signal from a source of existence you'd like to resemble.
When people write guides or assemble instructions on how to do something properly, they never reached that point through the mechanisms they're delivering to you. Sure you can follow a step-by-step on how to perform a task or execute a function, but success is an immaterial vibrant state of being which demands the sacrifice of risk, uncertainty, and the right amount of failure preceding it.
Too little failure and you're likely just setting up a meaningless goalpost within a range of mediocrity.
Too much failure and you're just demoralizing yourself at something you're genuinely not going to get better at.
Most of the time people are asking for advice, it's either to solve a problem or elevate their own existence. Something vaguely aspirational like becoming rich when you don't have the upbringing or social structures to enable that for you isn't something you can follow a simple walkthrough to reach. If it was, everyone would do it.
Reaching success at anything is a naturalistic process of intuition and instinct, a knack for something particular that gets fueled by consistently dedicating enough energy towards it. If you aren't in love with the process, you're not going to get the outcome. Making money is a personal process for everyone who does it.
Just like having a winning strategy at the casino or finding a niche in business, the only place you can look for money is where you find it. And once you find your place where your money was waiting for you, you sure as shit shouldn't be trying to tell people how to get there unless you're willing to just give them some of your money, because that pathway doesn't exist for them.
Giving advice when you're a loser who isn't any better off than the person you're giving it to is just a coping mechanism, a form of projection where you're trying to feel better about yourself by farming a brief fantasy of your own personal superiority in exchange for deluding yourself that you "helped" someone instead of causing them harm by convincing them to waste their time.
Giving advice from a place of success is even worse sometimes because very few people truly understand the DNA of why they were successful and where it came from. Unless you want to cheapen the definition of success as being some basic benchmark you were able to achieve in a no-stakes effort that thousands of other people can figure out, then actual success is something that requires a sense of rhythm, timing, and sheer fortunate luck that can't just copied by some wordcel who thinks they can self-help book their way into being anything they want.
Even if you're the right combination of autistic, eloquent, and meticulous to be able to deconstruct actual meaningful regimens for others to follow, you're doomed to be drowned out by a market of loud retarded gurus who have an equal chance at steering your cattle into their own pens to bring them to slaughter.
The best advice isn't advice that feels good. It's not even some euphoric tough love kick in the nuts that makes you feel "Wow I really needed to hear that." That itself is its own form of delusion, ask any drug addict how many wake up calls and stirring motivational interventions they've gotten from close friends before they go back to being sucked into the repetition of raping themselves with a glass bottle or another night wasted away smoking dogshit out of a PVC pipe.
The best advice isn't even advice, it's support. It's the exertion of time, energy, money, and focus from someone who loves you because they love you enough to worsen their life in exchange for elevating yours. And the kind of help that actually helps you is the kind of help you hate receiving. It's a humiliating process that, if performed successfully, often makes the person being helped resent the person that helped them.
That is the alchemy of support, it fundamentally demands something for something and the contract of the human condition has assigned that burden to your parents. If they failed you, then sorry, you got a shit deal and you have to play the cards in your hand.
Ironically, actually good advice from someone who knows what they're talking about and delivers it in a way that can be meaningfully achieved to the person who needs it is itself sometimes harmful as well. Sometimes people have to learn things the wrong way in order to naturally develop the context of consequences to ensure they can actually do it the right way. Any student of an actually viable martial art will tell you that they can learn in class and do the drills all day, but the most learning that actually happens comes from sparring on the mats.
There is no substitute for just trying consistently until you figure out what works, and destiny cements itself in your tendency towards what you naturally seem to want to do the most. You're like a big fucking tugboat that's headed down a certain path and you really only get so much leeway on how much you get to change your direction. The more change you want from your fate, the exponentially harder you have to spin that captain's wheel and it'll never be as much as you'd want it to be.
Learn to dismiss errant advice, especially if it's something you never asked for from some stupid asshole who you wouldn't never want to become. Apply a basic rule at bare minimum any time you get advice from someone:
Would I ever want to be this person?
Not just, would I ever want to be as smart as this dude giving me academic advice or would I ever want to be as jacked as this dude giving me workout advice. But overall, ask yourself would you want every part of your life to resemble the life of the person giving that advice, even if the advice itself is as simple as how to cook eggs better or what movie's worth watching.
Chances are, you almost never want to become a guy who talks at a fucking camera with a microphone to make his living. Performance is a form of prostitution and you never escape the disingenuous nature of performing for an audience. The residue of living a life built around streaming, content creation, production, and marketing will create an asterisk that follows you around for the rest of your life.
That includes me and this post. Some guy who writes longposts as a side hobby isn't going to fix your life or make it better. The point of this is to siphon likes and retweets out of you so I can get high off numbers for half an hour and maybe make you entertain or captivate you in exchange for that. Not that most of you were looking to me as some kind of guide for anything, Jesus I hope not.
The two matters where errant advice givers crawl out of the woodwork for the horde of advice seekers desperately looking to get an edge are that of money and pussy.
Everyone wants to make money.
Everyone wants to get pussy.
If the phrasing disgusts you, change it to "finding love" or whatever makes you feel better about it, but those are the two biggest factors that confound and mystify the uninitiated, wealth and women.
The biggest problem in giving advice on the matter, or taking advice on it, is that you're competing against everyone else at all times as a default state. Even if you're rich and happily wedded, with the confidence of knowing you earned both through a well sharpened pedigree of personal skill, you are always psychologically competing with everyone else on these matters forever, it's ingrained in your blood.
The idea that every man gets their perfect wife and there's a fortune to be made for everyone willing to work for it is the boomer delusion. It is a tribute paid for in blood through the slaughter of two world wars establishing America's western hegemony for a roughly 50 year period that allowed its occupants to grow fat and contented. An age of plenty which spawned a generation of people who believed this is the way things would always be forever.
The blackpill is that, no, not everyone gets to be rich. Soon, not everyone will even get to live a vaguely first world existence. Not everyone gets to find a proper wife either, most of the male population has to settle for damaged goods and mentally ill rehabilitation projects. Only a select few will be cunning or shrewd enough to survive our generation's great filter.
This is the state humanity has experienced in varying degrees of severity depending on the age you were fated to live through. Your game of musical chairs has more players, less chairs, and the music is shittier.
You're in a room with 25 people and only 7 of you get to live. If someone is giving you sincere advice that's actually good when it comes to money or women, it's a knife being thrown into the brawl pile and there's no referee that guarantees it goes to you.
That is your choice, kill or die. Dave Ramsey has never been through what you're about to experience, and everyone else who could relate to you is fighting for your prize the same as you.
But hey, don't take my advice.
THE NORMIE RETARD’S GUIDE TO WHY DOXXING IS BAD:
If you’re reading this past the week it was posted, you’ve likely been linked this Tweet by someone who has enough contempt for you to warrant the effort of doing so, yet still has some hope you’re capable of learning.
You’re probably the type of person who has their name and face plastered on their online account, going around and replying in spiteful contempt to anonymous users for “having cartoon pfps” and goading them with statements like “post yourself buddy” and asking them why they’re “hiding.”
The reason you are the way that you are and the reason you say the things you do (assuming you’re not a bad faith actor operating on low level political subterfuge), is because you’re a naive retard who is in no way native to the Internet.
Your life is so unremarkable and so insignificant that you’ve never even fathomed of the possibility that anything you say or do online could ever gain attention or care from anyone to the degree that those people spend time and effort in causing harm to you.
You have failed to reach any substantial portion of the Network where actual culture shaping discourse has taken place and even if you somehow wandered into such a space by accident, through some meandering chaotic circumstance akin to a dust mite floating on the wind, you’d never amount to any meaningful contribution to that discourse beyond the pale regurgitation of your base level opinion on the products you enjoy.
Because you lack the frame of reference or any level of sentience required to understand what it’s like to matter in any way, you will never naturally understand why doxxing is bad.
Doxxing is, in fact, very bad!
Like a third worlder migrant flossing his shit encrusted ass with the vertical metal handhold of a New York train car, you simply must be educated in the standards, customs, and culture of the ecosystem you are completely alien to.
WHY DOES THIS SHIT MATTER?
Everything that anyone finds enjoyable or cool about the internet comes from anonymous or pseudonymous people who kept their real life identity separate from their online identity.
In the Web 1.0 era, people inherently knew the internet could be a dangerous place. They developed guidance and caution for incoming children to try and follow, warning them from sharing personal details online and being careful of strangers.
They would wear cool avatars and make up fantastical usernames that would enshrine their personalities and steer their online presence into distinct archetypal personas. They developed a culture around their online form of existence and gathered in places to exchange new ideas, ideas which could be expressed with minimal fear of consequence.
This would be ruined when the Web 2.0 era began and the world wide web would begin to trade its myriad of cool and unique websites for a select handful of major content aggregates that doubled as social media platforms. Facebook was the great Satan which really started pushing a wider trend of associating your online identity with your real face and name.
The increase in accessibility provided by the emergence of smart phones sealed the fate of organic online culture, permanently shifting it towards an Overton Window centered around the sensibilities of unfamiliar normies who wouldn't understand or respect the environment they were entering (like you!).
WHY DO YOU NEED TO BE ANONYMOUS?
Anonymity protects you from having your ideas being shut down by people who are incapable of engaging rhetorically with you.
When someone is too weak or stupid to argue against something they don't like, they seek out alternative methods to censor you. They don't have any moral compunctions about the harm they could cause you in real life and they likely hate you enough to want you to be hurt or killed, or at the very least rob you of your livelihood.
IF SOMEONE'S WORDS CAUSE THEM TO BE ATTACKED, ISN'T IT THEIR FAULT? THEY SHOULD JUST BE NORMAL
You're too fucking stupid to understand what normal means.
Your standards of normality are completely artificial and fed to you by corporations and media who specifically want to castrate you into a suppliant little bisexual oaf that does nothing except consume products safely, repeat buzzwords when you're told, and roll over and die when it's time for you to be erased from history.
You have zero place telling anybody what they should or shouldn't say. You occupy the LOWEST spot on society's totem pole. You are a bottom feeder. You are scum. You are fucking fertilizer.
If you're actually the 'you' I'm directly addressing, you're here reading this post that's actively shitting on you and you're continuing to read it because you are a spineless little cuck, a sack of pathetic pudding meat that was shit out on God's most ignored conveyor belt for the sole purpose of consuming abuse and queefing out nitrogen gas. You're a flesh cube waiting to be buried in the stack of a billion other of you, a nutrient pile of inanimate cannon fodder.
Don't make the mistake of having opinions on what anyone should do. You're a bystander, a 2D hologram in a Gamecube stadium running a 3-second loop cheering animation while actual human beings fight over the way the world is going to be.
Who the fuck do you think you are to question an idea's value? You've never had an original idea in your life. Everything you enjoy about life is only made possible by the ideas of men who gathered together and took action to manifest those ideas into fruition.
If those ideas couldn't be exchanged, then any sort of progress or change would be incapable of occurring. Humanity is always in a state of imperfect conditions, trying constantly to improve and strive towards something better.
If you think there's ever a place in history where everything should just stop and stay there forever, then any point of history should never have occurred. If you genuinely believe that, go to subsaharan Africa and wander around amongst like minded individuals, see how long it takes before someone caves your skull in with a rock to see if there's gold inside or someone puts a burning tire around your neck because you reminded them of their favorite color.
I HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH
No you don't. Every country on earth has a magic combination of words that gets them a visit from the police. What you're alluding to is potentially the moderated breadth of speech you're allowed to post online and the wider breadth of speech you can probably get away with posting because nobody gives a shit about you.
The more notoriety you gain, the narrower that latter window becomes and the more enemies you naturally gain by the sheer mathematics of people disagreeing with you or simply just disliking you.
What you call "freedom of speech" is merely a promise that the government won't jail, murder, fine, or punish you for expressing your opinions. It doesn't guarantee you any safety from the harm others cause you. It doesn't stop the few corporations and investment firms that attempt to swallow up every social platform online from banning your account and deleting every post you've ever made. It doesn't stop ravenous mentally ill people from obsessively stalking you and harassing your parents, siblings, and children by spreading false rumors about you.
WELL CANCEL CULTURE IS BEING KILLED, YOU WON CHUD. WHAT DO YOU CARE?
As long as there are pathetic rape victim ghouls roaming the internet looking to punish people as a catharsis for their own squalid existence, there is always going to be a cancel culture.
This isn't addressed to those freaks. They're going to exist no matter what, they're a guaranteed presence doled out by the mathematics of living ecosystems. Just as there are always barbarians, marauders, and bandits in between the pockets of civilized states, there will always be viruses, parasites, and doxxers.
This is addressed to you, the suppliant cattle class, a verbally audible node in the unwashed masses that help push things in a worse direction because you're stupid enough to get steered towards having the worst opinion possible.
There is a war taking place for hearts and minds online and its consequences reverberate out into the "real world." The world isn't any realer than the internet. Everyone and everything is online. For all intents and purposes, the internet is now real life and it will be forever.
The clothes you wear, the food you eat, the car you drive, your ability to work, your potential to reproduce, your children's psychological and biological safety, the media you consume, the quality of the air you breathe, the politicians that decide whether you get drafted into a war, the machines that decide whether you get evaporated into a pink mist from an incoming cruise missile and the machines that launched those missiles, all of these things are beholden to the ebb and flow of information online.
Stop processing the "internet" as a little space where things happen that don't affect you. It's not a separate tiny video game dimension of words on a screen, it's the fucking neural network of humanity's collective beliefs and knowledge interacting with itself in real-time.
If you think you're somehow better than the internet, that you're somehow superior to people who spend their time on the internet because you only use your phone to text your kids and look up the weather, you're not. You're just nonparticipant. You're at the mercy of the cooperative services and goods provided by people who use the internet.
Your beliefs that you meticulously and carefully adopt because some decrepit make up wearing geriatric closet case said them slowly to you behind a news desk are the polished turds pilfered in the aftermath of an online battleground that's fighting an entirely different war by this point.
The words you jokingly use because your coworkers explained them to you after their kids said them enough times at home six months ago are the product of onliners who stopped using them five years ago.
The movies that are stale and shitty, the songs on the radio that sound the same as they've sounded for a decade, the clothes you're unimpressed by, the sports games that haven't been as exciting for the past two decades, the books on the shelf at Barnes and Noble that all have the same covers, and the shitty paint streak graffiti you can't understand when you google "modern art" once, all of it screams to you that culture is dying.
You think all of this because none of it is real culture, it's stale reruns being puked together by other people who haven't really been online. You're in a decrepit bubble of decade long repetition while real culture and real change happens on the internet.
You can't see it because you've never tried to look. Your idea of YouTube is the app on the TV that shows you SNL skits and Kevin Hart doing push up challenges with Dwayne Johnson on the For You feed with the account signed out. Your front page is the newsfeed on MSN before you painstakingly type your email login for seven minutes to pay your bills. By some miracle you found yourself on Twitter and you're probably following Anderson Cooper and Bill Gates while the spiciest shit that comes across your feed is black people communicating in gifs of movie characters making "dayum" expressions.
I can't emphasize enough, you do not matter. You're here because you're retarded and the only purpose this post serves is to try and convey enough of that scorn into your heart so that maybe for once in your godforsaken life you feel some sense of consequence to the stupid unconsidered shit you spew out in replies. And maybe that someone with some bare level of sapience can read this alongside you and actually gain some level of understanding as to why doxxing is the biggest sin online.
Doxxing is the chemical gas of WW1, a reckless act of cruelty that turns the playing field into a nasty chaotic slaughterhouse, opening the premise of retribution as a possibility. It has no place in the arena of ideas and the only thing worse than a savage who opts for it as a last resort is the insolent little child troglodyte standing on the sidelines cheering for it.
Now, fuck off and lurk silently forever.
Flight attendants need to shut the fuck up and stop interrupting the first five minutes of Zootopia when we’re taking off. Nobody cares who’s piloting, nobody cares how the flight is going to go, nobody cares about anything anymore, we’re just praying if we crash we die quickly.
In CCW class they tell you you have a heightened duty to avoid potential fights while armed, as a matter of legal and practical self-preservation. You don't want to raise the stakes to death in a fight, and you don't want to have to argue to a jury later about whether you provoked a fight while armed to bait someone into a self-defense situation.
The anti-ICE protestors have inverted the duties of being an armed citizen (or a citizen in control of a lethal instrument, like a car in a traffic stop). They are deliberately creating situations of maximum ambiguity with a low level threat of lethal danger to bait law enforcement into making them heroic victims or martyrs.
Being an "observer" of law enforcement, while also armed and getting into shoving distance with them, is just a bad idea, even if you think the law empowers you to play the "I'm not touching you" game with acts of defiance or minor assaults. It's also hazardous to the public trust to create a situation in which every protestor is regarded as a potential threat, and every cop seen to be on the edge of shooting someone.
I can't tell from the video whether this guy drew his gun at any point in the struggle. Regardless, getting into a struggle with a cop while armed has a serious chance of ending in your death. Even if the resulting shoot is ruled unjustified or in error, you're still dead, which is only good for people who profit from chaos and mistrust (protestors who cause is bad).
The shooting will not have been *unjust* or criminal, just a tragedy. It's also not proof of government oppression, because every government has to enforce laws, and you can't use the chaos of choosing to interfere with law enforcement as proof that having laws is unjust.
