She immediately knew who he was, a heavy sigh escaping her lips in frustration. The Champion. Of course he was here. She just wanted to create chaos in peace.. ironic as that was. Kasdeya never got a break nowadays.
“Well, it’s been awhile.”
[ Starter for @Abyssal_Hound ]
@Abyssal_Hound Kasdeya pinned herself against a wall, searching the streets for any sign of him. With none, she slinked into a doorway and found herself in a shop of all sorts of things— clothes, hopefully.
The Umbrem began her search for something that was still her style but.. not as—
@Abyssal_Hound wouldn’t recognize her from the back of her head. It was a matter of time before he caught up or she escaped the crowd and slipped out of sight.
@Abyssal_Hound Her one advantage was she knew the cities better than most Umbrem as she had traveled through them many times in search of places to destroy or things to be obtained. Obtained which way, who knew with Kasdeya.
The ex-priestess kept her head straight, only hoping that he—
@Abyssal_Hound to hide her face.
A safe place was.. somewhat true. Dangerously true. And now she’d have to lay low for awhile, as to not cause a stir unless she moved fast.
@Abyssal_Hound At this point, she’d do almost anything to evade capture.
Coffee colored eyes turned to see if he was following which didn’t seem to be the case. Kasdeya slowed her pace down a bit as to not alarm anyone who was nearby. She’d need new clothes to hide from him, a hood at least—
@Abyssal_Hound shit! You would’ve found me sooner!”
It was her last words towards him for the time being, unless he caught up somehow which was a possibility.
@Abyssal_Hound Would he ever leave her alone now that he knew what she looked like exactly? Probably not and there was no way she’d be left alone now.. of course this had to happen to her.
No matter now, her only focus was to run. The landscape was her advantage at least.
“The Abyss sees—
@Abyssal_Hound lightning burst from her to scathe the other, a quick turn around being her next move. And with that, she’d be off, using her small window to try and escape from him.
@Abyssal_Hound Her growing anger only made her magic more unstable and it felt as if though she was vibrating with the power flowing through her. Against him, it wouldn’t be much, just enough.
“I am no side project— I am a full fledged mission.”
And with that, energy as powerful as—
@Abyssal_Hound Just had to wait a moment longer, just another moment.. and then she could cause a distraction and leave.
Although, the Champion has orders about her? Surprising. Maybe she could strike a deal.
“You know, I have plenty of information that you and the Matron would love to—
@Abyssal_Hound have a fancy title. No need to be shouting it when the Opulara might be around.”
She was talking, trying to keep him from striking while powering up. Anything she could muster up... just enough.
@Abyssal_Hound Plenty of curses spewed out of Kasdeya’s mouth as her use of arcane magic was nowhere nearly as powerful or controlled as his was— but that was the thing, she was a literal walking bomb.
And maybe she could use that to her advantage... a distraction at least.
“I get it, you—
@Abyssal_Hound unleash hell on him, as much as she possibly could. In victory.. she’d be bloodied, she couldn’t lose. Her fighting the Champion.. bad idea.
@Abyssal_Hound In response to the ice, flames engulfed most of her body as her eyes narrowed into a chilling glare. Cracking and hissing as if a roaring blaze, the flames only continued to grow.
“Yes, some. Not all.”
Kasdeya would not be killed or taken in, not yet— she was ready to—
@Abyssal_Hound “I knew you weren’t all that everyone thought you to be— rogue, just like me.”
Kasdeya cared once and maybe she would care once again but that time was over for now. All she wanted was chaos. Matron if the Abyss would’ve either been perfect for her or the downfall of the—
@Abyssal_Hound “For freedom? For finding more power and causing chaos wherever I roam?”
The woman shook her head as she tsked her tongue, a smirk forming on her crimson lips. If he was going to threaten her with ice, she’d bring the fire.
“How could I? Oh, it was all too easy.”
