The Roadrunners split with a tough Cheney squad to move to 4-2 on the season. The Hostetler brothers provided 7 innings of great pitching and Jay Cushenberry got the walkoff gapper to take game one 5-4. Proud of the team and can’t wait for the next one. #BetterEveryday

Chaparral splits with Douglass 1-8 and 8-0. Justin Moritz threw 4 shutout innings in relief in game one and Wyatt Drouhard throws a Complete Game Shutout in game 2 with 8 K’s and only 2 hits. Bats woke up in game two, with Squeak Angle finding a way on all 4 ABs.

2/2 Justin Moritz hit his 2nd HR of the season while young guys like Cody Moritz, Carson Bandy, Joe Ord, and Eli Gates had big RBI hits. The OF of Cody Moritz, Carson Bandy, Kye Gerdes, and Joe Ord had outstanding games defensively. So proud of this group!

Runners take 2 from Bucklin tonight! Tyce Pfaff threw 5 great innings and Squeak Angle went 3 and got the win in game one. Justin Moritz went 6.2 (darn pitch count) of great innings himself while Carson Bandy got the last out and the save. 1/2

Last night the Runners played in two great games at Med Lodge. Lost the first one 2-1 despite 6 outstanding innings of one run ball from Cody Moritz. Game two went the Runners way 12-9 behind Wyatt Drouhard’s first career homer along with his 2nd win of the season. Great work!

Dropped 2 against a tough Wichita Trinity team tonight, including a heartbreaking 4-3 walkoff in game 2. The boys played hard and left it all out on the field. Wyatt Drouhard threw his tail off in 6.1 innings with 10 KC’s and 0 earned runs. We’re gonna keep getting better.

JV Runners played a great game tonight but came up short to Sedgwick 13-11. Cody Moritz led the way with a 4 for 4 game with 2 Doubles and 3 RBI, and Tyce Pfaff and Eli Gates each had 2 hits and 2 RBI while Carson Bandy had a pair of hits. A lot of positives for the young Runners

Runners fought their tails off in a game two loss against Sedgwick. Freshman Tyce Pfaff pitched like a madman tonight. 4 IP 1 ER and pitched out of some tough jams all night. Entire team played hard and this Runner couldn’t be prouder. 1-1 to start the season.
