new - Cody Campbell group Saving College Sports warning that UNC, FSU, Miami and Clemson could tank college sports bill in the House by pushing "to raise the conference cap from 20 to 22 while also sunsetting the entire provision so that they have the right to immediately bolt from the ACC"

"They have told members of our board in just the last several hours that they are willing to do everything in their power to defeat the bill if their demands are not met"

Some interesting roster questions lingering for Clemson MBB and Clemson WBB ... both teams have starters from last year suing the NCAA for another year of eligibility. Fresh quotes from Brad Brownell and Shawn Poppie at ACC Tipoff this week on what's next:

One month before season starts, Clemson’s basketball rosters still TBD. Here’s why https://t.co/PVeiOW1Y7t

Brownell on Schieffelin, who's with the Heat on an Exhibit 10 training camp deal: "He sent us a picture of him on a boat with Giannis and the rest of the team in the summer. That was awesome. ... How much he's worked the last six months, you wouldn't believe it"

[Chapel Fowler @chapelfowler]

One fun note from Clemson MBB coach Brad Brownell: He says former Clemson PF Ian Schieffelin weighed 280 lbs when he finished playing TE for the football team last year. Schieffelin dropped 40 lbs to get back into basketball shape this spring and is now with the Miami Heat

Brownell: "That's just my opinion. My opinion apparently doesn't mean a whole lot, and it probably shouldn't. But I'll reiterate that in spring meetings." This will be the first time since 1950-51 that Clemson and UNC (founding ACC members) won't play in the regular season

Clemson MBB coach Brad Brownell on not playing UNC in ACC regular-season play this year: "I don't like it. I said it last year with Virginia: I hate that we don't play everybody. I don't understand. If we're gonna play 18 games, why not play everybody once and a partner twice?"

Brownell says Hunter and his lawyers are "working on" next steps. A judge in Georgia initially issued an injunction for Hunter, others vs. NCAA before pausing that injunction in Sept. Brownell on Hunter: "Certainly, we're anxious to know one way or the other"
