You have publicly expressed your commitment to ensuring that no harm comes to your Uncle from Uganda. Many Rwandans respect your word and value the brotherly relationship between Rwanda and Uganda.

It is therefore concerning to see individuals operating from Uganda repeatedly using YouTube and other online platforms to direct degrading personal attacks and insults at your uncle and our beloved President Paul Kagame and his family.

This appeal is not about silencing legitimate criticism or political views. Criticism is part of public discourse. But persistent personal abuse and attacks against President Kagame and his family are different.

Just as anyone would defend the dignity of their own family, we respectfully appeal to your sense of fairness and brotherhood to help ensure that Uganda does not become a base for relentless personal attacks against your Uncle and his family.

General, we respect your word and trust your commitment to preserving the friendship and mutual respect between our two brotherly countries.
