My experience on her platform was not one of open debate. I would say 90% of those posting in her book club and on IG are liberal. That’s not a problem in itself, but anytime a conservative offered a different perspective (exceedingly rare) it was a mean-girl pile-on. Every single time.

That’s exactly why I quit following her. I try to follow people with diverse beliefs so that I don’t live in an echo chamber, but I couldn’t deal with her nonpartisan claim when it clearly was not true. I could have respected her if she’d have been honest about who she is and what she’s all about. And my goodness - the venom that exists in her book club chats if one has a thought that is different from the liberals in there is next level. There’s zero polite discussion of opposing views going on anywhere on her platform as she’d like people to believe.

Someone should analyze McMahon’s “nonpartisan” claim. I was once a follower of her account and bought it hook, line, and sinker. However, after Trump won, she changed and so did her community. What once was a place for respectful open dialogue became a viper’s den for anyone not echoing the leftist group-think (ask me how I know). I don’t have a problem with people who voice different beliefs than I do, but I do have a problem with people representing themselves falsely. McMahon does.
