Hi @McDonaldsUK. As you're refurbing the #NewtonAbbot branch, and the car park is being dug up, I'm hoping you're adding #ElectricVehicle charging to the site! Can you confirm? Thanks! 🚗⚡️🍔
Many thanks for following @chargeworks@chargevite_@plugsurf If you’ve a home EV chargepoint will you help us become the UKs no.1 charging network by sharing it via the app (co charger) or https://t.co/42LuXSmA2r? No CP? Join as a chargee. Neither? Join any time! Thanks! 🚘⚡️
@Pod_Point We loved that the Beverley, Yorkshire store had them installed shortly before our recent trip there! What about #NewtonAbbot, Devon? Fancy being the first public charge point in a large town that's otherwise a charging desert?
@GrahamMillman @swevownersgroup@Teignbridge@co_charger@newtonabbottown@DevonCC It has been pretty bad over the last few weeks. A perfect storm of roadworks right now. While we had a lot of passers-by come to chat on Saturday, I can safely say that the traffic wasn't for us!
We have really enjoyed tackling this challenge together, and Sophia has given it her all to complete it and fundraise for @RenewableWorld Today is the last day of the #EarthWindTyre 100 miles in June. Best of luck to everyone finishing this today! https://t.co/Ns2uwyDHUc
Our next #EarthWindTyre shout out is for Sophia & @ChargeWorks. Sophia is just 8 years old, so 100 miles of cycling is an incredible feat for her, but that did not stop her from joining her Mum (who works at ChargeWorks) and taking on this challenge! https://t.co/xKRhsunxs8
🔥Possibly the hottest job in Britain right now🔥

Enough of the negativity around this. We have TEN YEARS. Charging infrastructure, battery tech, grid development... all improving rapidly. And nobody's suggesting wiping all non-electric cars off the road, it's just about selling NEW ones.

@DartmoorElms @suepritch@KeithEmmerson@JanetHughes@FFC_Commission@Will_Frazer1@Forum4theFuture @3KeelLLP Hopefully I'm not the only one excited to read articles
with "spatiotemporal potential", "photovoltaic energy", "rural" & "electric vehicles" in the title! Bookmarking to get my hands on this later... https://t.co/p4NfZ72jSX
@DartmoorElms @suepritch@KeithEmmerson@JanetHughes@FFC_Commission@Will_Frazer1@Forum4theFuture @3KeelLLP Absolutely. CapEx is often a huge barrier when electric vehicles, machinery and renewables are concerned. We could help farms get chargers without this high capital outlay, and we need to put our heads together for the rest of it. Where's a UK farm that's gone electric? 👀🚜⚡️
@KeithEmmerson@NorthernMGirl @DartmoorElms @suepritch@JanetHughes Will do some digging! Payback varies on electric cars now, can be very rapid payback or even immediate if leasing... but an electric tractor, for example, may be a very different beast. It's almost always best when linked in with on-site renewbles.
Electric by 2030? No problem. The car industry is at its best when challenged - brilliant engineers (especially Brits) will always find a way.
More importantly, in ten years drivers will want to go EV - at the right price.
