@TheFairyDemon “I won’t tell if you won’t. . .” He was quick to quip, the smallest of smiles curling onto the edge of his lips as they caught eyes for a mere moment whilst walking down the road.
“I’ll do my best to play the part, for you, on this retreat. You deserve at least that much. . .”
@TheFairyDemon “. . . . . . . . . . . . . That’s wildly mature of you.”
His words were soft, almost disappointed in tone. Dare she believe, he sounded a bit as though he felt bad.
“I, err. . . I missed you too, you know.”
@TheFairyDemon “I’m following you, aren’t I?” He quipped, tucking his hands back behind his head as his stride lengthened enough to catch up aside of her before slowing down to her same pace.
“You haven’t scolded me about taking that last job without telling anyone yet. . .”
@TheFairyDemon “Tch. . . All of a sudden, I’ve noticed everyone else that is going to end up being there as well. . .”
A quiet, yet noticeable, snarl would follow as he looked over his shoulder quickly before returning attention back towards her.
“Let’s go get a bite to eat, just you and I.”
@TheFairyDemon “. . . . . . . . . . . Alright, relax, I hear you loud and clear, that being said, nobody else needs to as well too.”
Maintaining composure was increasingly difficult in every instance between he and her, today, as always, seems to be no different.
@TheFairyDemon He narrowed his eyes slightly at the suitcase lack of comment but decided to hold his tongue.
“Spa, hm. . . Is it going to be one of those ‘team building’ retreats where everyone is going. . .”
