A big shout out to our Fundraiser of the Year, Aileen, who has been fundraising for BBC Children in Need for 35 years!
Now at the age of 81, she walks in her Pudsey pyjamas to collect money and fundraise. 💛
These gifts, raffles and donations all go towards directly supporting Children North East’s work, helping babies, children and young people. 🫶 Here's some ways you can help out this Christmas:

'Nearly half of everyone in poverty is either a disabled person or lives with a disabled person.' This is a statement from @DisRightsUK
Consequently, the work @Sunshine_Fund and other charities supporting disabled children is so important!!
We should support these charities and help raise awareness on what they do as it's an issue that is so big and affecting so many right now. #CostOfLiving#poverty#Disability
