Well we have said many times patient safety is being compromised and WE are stretching ourselves to the impossible to ensure patients aren’t affected even more than now. How much worse should it get?

@abdul_ola @ResidentDoctors Agree! NO IM residents are well. We are crumbling along with the hospitals secondary to lack of staff and more patients than ever. (We all know IM always admits). The pandemic was our exam! We have been there every single day.

As one of the many staff off with COVID right now, it pains me to see our hospitals again being brought to its knees in the face of this virus. @Royal_College in the name of compassion and patient safety, this is simply not the time for an exam.

@YoniFreedhoff @DrAnnieHung We are facing the worst ever staffing crisis in internal medicine so far but royal college is still requiring senior internal medicine residents to sit the oral exam in 3 weeks which is taking us away from patient care. Exam cancelled last year when staffing not as bad. #burnout
