Everyone will be telling stories about Charlie in the coming days., so here's my brief one.

When he visited the UK in May, he took the time to meet a friend and I in London. Wanted to give us some advice on media, politics, and how to replicate the success of Trump in the UK. He was really busy, so I was grateful.

I joked that I was sitting across from a future President of the United States.

After the meeting, his team reached out to ask about Lucy Connolly, so I provided some notes and links to brief him on before his GB News interview and Cambridge Union debate.

Without Charlie raising the plight of people imprisoned for speech here in Britain to his audience in the US, we wouldn't have had support from the Trump Administration.

He really cared about what Britain is going through. We should be grateful for the part he played in us inevitably reclaiming our country.

Charlie said to my friend and I that, when the time was right, he'd have us on his show. It would have been great. Now that time will never come.

Now, his wife has lost her husband, his children their father, and America has lost one of their best future leaders.

Rest in peace, Charlie.
