Your struggle will not be getting God to accept you. But I’ve seen many struggle to give up the power of darkness.

The world’s system ultimately sources its power from Satan. The church must be separate from the world’s system. No compromise is acceptable.

While Christians and Republicans can agree on freedom, we cannot allow ourselves to be corrupted by the worldliness and carnality in the GOP.

The majority of Republicans do not live holy lives. The Republicans are part of the world’s system, just like the Democrats.

When you notice an area where someone needs to grow, respond with prayer, patience, and, as opportunities arise, exhortation.

The unsaved do not understand how God can use Christians above their natural abilities. They will never understand this until they experience salvation.

The biggest danger in getting what you want sinfully is damaging your faith.

When you desire something enough to step outside of God's will, you have an idol. You know you may not have gotten it if you had not sinned. Next time you want something, the devil will remind you.

It will not be "just this once." You are not wiser than God. If God's not offering it, you don't want it. If you eventually get it, your walk with God will be damaged until you sincerely repent. This involves reaching the point of regretting your actions, and typically involves showing you clearly that your idol was not worth your sin.

Unfortunately, many Christians get stuck in sinning more and more to try to remove the consequences. Just repent. Nothing is worth more than your walk with God.

I’ve been amazed by how well children behave for parents who don’t accept silly excuses.

“You weren’t listening? That’s not an excuse; that’s disrespect, and disrespect means discipline.”

I’ve seen kids who understand immediately, do what they’re told, and don’t talk back.

Society has dangerously low expectations.

There are many things that should not divide preachers, but some things are worthy of division.

If a preacher is willing to commit fornication and is unwilling to repent, I have no respect for him.
