I work on the practice side of school social work. Our profession needs more studies on “mixed diagnosis classrooms”. With the coming leadership changes in Jan, Sped will be hit significantly with a reduction in funds and regulations. W/O regs, best practice is vulnerable

And more importantly, students can be adversely impacted in a number of ways. Our Sped supportive classrooms are best when they are targeted to student needs. What an ASD supportive classroom looks like is different that an ED supportive classroom.
