@yoyoma__yo But why even allow them to challenge the results by having such a horrible process compared to other states? People are stupid and with the way it is now, it’s easy to cause doubt.
@stephanebougie This isn’t based on the mainstream media. You can read the IPO filing and it’s basically all there. You could also look at Tesla’s financials to see their decline. Put the pieces together.
@captive_dreamer What are you even talking about? It’s been a huge disaster for Trump and the future of the party. I’m hesitant to support any Trump aligned Repubs or even any Repubs at all partially because of it. I voted for him in 2020 and 2024 but he’s done.
@AquaticFlapper I think the point is to not be persuaded by it. You can’t not do things because people were be saddened by the consequences. It doesn’t make the actions bad.
@commodore_slick But you don’t even need any of this because you can just look it up and read what happened. There’s even a Wikipedia article about it. Even if you ignore their sales Bud Light still responded to the backlash and changed course.
@commodore_slick It was around late April I believe and bleed into the summer. It caused a dip but once again you’d see it more in the US Bud Light sales figures. That isn’t their only business though so theoretically the effects on stock price aren’t as direct.
@commodore_slick Yes. LIV is mostly a Saudi thing. I would never call it MAGA. Regardless, none of this is relevant to the point about Bud Light. It doesn’t matter if the Saudis hired her a year after it happened. At that point Bud Light was forgiven.
@commodore_slick You can see it drop early 2023. Once again though it was also seen through US Bud Light sales and their actions after. It isn’t all about the stock price. You also had prominent right-wing figures praising the brand after signaling a forgiveness.
