We also identified key areas needing urgent attention, The resolution is to invest the 2026/2027 NHIS project funds to address critical infrastructure needs

GETFUND 2025 Update:
Funds have supported mock exams, distribution of mathematical sets to schools, administrative support to the Tema Education Directorate, and assistance to second-cycle institutions.

Yesterday, as MP for Tema Central, I took another firm step in fulfilling my promise to invest in the future of our constituency by providing educational support to 50 hardworking students from Tema Central and TESCON under the MP Student Scholarship Programme.

This marks the first batch of a long-term intervention that will support over 200 students every year for the next four years. Our young people deserve opportunities, not excuses—and education remains the most powerful tool for empowerment and transformation.

I urged the beneficiaries to stay disciplined, focused, and determined, reminding them that the future of Tema Central depends on how seriously they take their education today.
