UEDCL we have spent three days without power in Lugala trading center. We have tried to engage you on the same issue but no results. Your communication said that power will be off during day but now it’s not even coming back in the evening!!! @UEDCLTD
Chimpanzee Capital of the World.
Did you know that Uganda is home to the world's highest concentration of habituated wild chimpanzees?
There is no better place on Earth to experience our closest living relatives in their natural habitat.
This September, combine your holiday with the @ugwildlife Open Park Days (25 to 27 September) and discover why Uganda leads the world in primate tourism.
The forests are waiting.

Good news from Rushaga, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park!
The Bikyingi gorilla family has grown from 10 to 11 members, including 2 infants, after female Munyirio gave birth to a new baby.
A wonderful milestone for mountain gorilla conservation.

The world is looking at Uganda again. And this time, they're seeing it through the words of a Ugandan.
With Uganda officially Ebola-free, the Pearl of Africa is open to welcome the world.
There couldn't be a better moment to shine light on the "Dear Uganda Campaign", @TourismBoardUg's six months campaign on @cnni, brought to life through the powerful narration of @GeorgeThePoet.
From the gentle giants of Bwindi, the thunderous Murchison Falls; the vast savanna plains to the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains and the warmth of our people, this campaign captures the experiences that make Uganda unlike anywhere else. Why? Because people don't choose destinations from maps or brochures, they choose the stories that move them.
Through @CNN, we are taking Uganda's story to millions across the world. But before the world falls in love with the Pearl, let's celebrate it ourselves.
Watch the campaign. Share it proudly. And tell us: What story would you tell someone visiting Uganda for the first time? #ExploreUganda

I have seen a number of comments questioning the use of influencers by @ugwildlife in promoting the #OpenParkDays campaign. Influencer marketing is a globally recognised destination marketing approach used by tourism boards and protected area agencies around the world to inspire travel and reach audiences that traditional marketing may not. The objective of the Open Park Days campaign is to encourage more Ugandans to visit our national parks, experience our unique wildlife and appreciate the value of conservation. While it is still too early to comprehensively assess the campaign's impact, we are already receiving encouraging inquiries from members of the public about the Open Park Days. We therefore encourage the public to give the team a chance to deliver on the assignment and above all, to join us in promoting Uganda's protected areas as premier tourism destinations. Together, we can inspire more people to discover the Pearl of Africa.
@Sudhirntv@BalaamBarugahar 45M in three months, 21 teachers can consume 2.1M@ in three months then per months they will be paid 710k per month & that money is finished. Now they will have to look for chalks, clean, the school and they will have to eat lunch from home, maybe more is sent for those.
We are ready for #POATE2026, are you?
Tomorrow, all roads lead to Speke Resort Convention Centre, Munyonyo for Uganda’s biggest tourism expo.
Are you part of the gang? Don't be left out🥳
