@HowardKurtz It’s too bad she couldn’t have been a little more detached. Let him lie and rant, then after he stops; well, that’s just not true … show me the evidence.
Well - Trump’s director of intelligence testified under oath that there was no evidence that Iran was pursuing a nuclear weapon or were in any way on a path to acquire one. I think, in Fact, the Iatola, the one who was killed, I believe had issued an order to not pursue a nuclear weapon. So, there’s that. And also the knowledge that DJT has a documented history, preceding his presidency, of, how can I say this politely, having a loose relationship with the truth. So just because he says Iran was on the verge, and all the yes-men he has surrounded himself with or congressmen he has bullied into submission, support his statements, doesn’t make it into a fact, Catherine.
@sussyrua@ChesterDrwrs@TerryMoran Why do you think I have democrat friends, or any friends at all, for that matter. Most people I work with cover the spectrum of political folly!
While I don’t agree that he was well controlled, I can agree that she could have played her hand better by detaching a bit and breaking the overspeak rhythm. If she wanted to contradict his claims, she could have just let him speak, and then say; so you have evidence? Or; Sir, that’s not true. This would have been more in control and effective.
@BruceSheridan12@AstroTerry@RpsAgainstTrump Just to be clear - I’m not a vet. Didn’t mean to imply that in my post. I do have great respect for our military and was asking this gentleman “as someone who served” what he thought.
Background: Before the 1979 Iranian Revolution, Iran (under the Shah) paid the U.S. about $400 million for military equipment via a Foreign Military Sales trust fund. The equipment was never delivered due to the revolution and severed relations. Iran pursued the claim for decades through an international arbitration tribunal at The Hague. https://t.co/eC6k0JaWjS
• The settlement: In January 2016 (around the time the JCPOA nuclear deal was implemented and U.S. hostages were released), the U.S. agreed to settle for the original ~$400 million principal plus ~$1.3 billion in negotiated interest — totaling $1.7 billion. This came from the U.S. Judgment Fund (used for legal settlements), not new congressional appropriations. https://t.co/hVpFccmIBB
@ColorApril President trump insulted a woman for asking valid questions on an international broadcast. He visibly lost control of his emotions. Not a good look for the guy who commands the most powerful military on the planet.
You are proud of the elected leader of the greatest country on earth losing his temper and calling a woman journalist “crooked or stupid” on an international broadcast? You think that helps us solve any of the problems we face? And by the way, if you have proof of election fraud significant enough to swing an election, please post it here and then send it to the DA.
Dr. By any measure, DJT’s approval is down to around 31% of the US population. And another percentage point seems to drop off the table every week. So you seem to be saying that the other 2/3rds of the USA are not “real Americans”. 1) Stop the divisive nonsense that you post. 2) How much do you get paid by PACs, shadow organizations, and the GOP, for your posts?
