From the prolonged detention of opposition leader Ekrem İmamoğlu to repeated waves of arrests, targeting freedom advocates, journalists & opposition figures, the latest mass arrest of opposition mayors is very alarming.

Today, we signed a Memorandum of Understanding with @Tsihanouskaya and the Belarusian democratic forces.

This marks a new chapter of cooperation to support Belarusian civil society in exile, amplify independent voices & stand united for democracy and human rights.
