Yes. The house I grew up in was built in 1900 and didn’t have air conditioning. It did have tall ceilings and big, open windows however, as well as a glass three-season room. It was cool enough in the summer with fans.

I didn’t get regular air conditioning until I was 18.

Both of my parents were the problem. Father was a hard, ignorant bigot with a fiery temper. Mother is a cold, distant, selfish woman with an extreme case of anxiety. They never should have married each other. All they did was argue. They certainly never should have had kids. 🤷🏻
