1994 World Cup in the USA: only 1 of 52 matches delayed by thunderstorm.

2025 Club World Cup in the USA: 6 of 63 matches delayed by thunderstorm.

Plus 30 of 104 matches are at stadiums that can be fully covered by a roof and 7 more are in L.A. where they have a roof and open-air sides which provides some protection from thunderstorms and reduces any potential delay.

@usmntonly Will there be beer, though? If so, beer + sea sickness = lot's of fun! LOL. I tried watching an NCAA Basketball game on a small TV on a small fishing boat tossed by waves outside the Golden Gate Bridge. It was rough. I wish these Seattle folks the best of luck, though.
