BREAKING: Kansas State head coach Chris Klieman is reportedly retiring this week.

Klieman had been the Wildcats’ head coach since 2019 and led them to a 54-34 record over 7 seasons, notably winning 10 games and the Big 12 Championship in 2022.

He previously coached FCS North Dakota State from 2014-2018, where he went 69-6 and won the 2014, 2015, 2017, and 2018 FCS National Championships.

Collin Klein, Texas A&M’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach (formerly K State OC/QBs coach until 2023) who played QB at Kansas State from 2009-2012, is likely to be hired as their next head coach.
