The Reception children have been turning 'dots' into lots of different things this week using their drawing and phonics skills...we've had everything from spiders and caterpillars to cats, dogs and teapots! 🕷🐱🐶☕🌞 Well-done, Reception!
We also created dot art outside using hoops and powder paint, and colour mixed with wet chalks to create different colours of dots. 😊 #outdoorlearning#EYFS#outdoorart#TheDot
In reception this week we read 'The Dot' by Peter H. Reynolds, in which the character goes from thinking she can't draw to becoming an amazing artist! We created lots of different dot art and effects this week and proved that we can be amazing artists too. 😊 🎨🖌 #thedot#EYFS
@Charlestown_Pri We loved wearing our yellow outfits in Reception today! 😃 We talked about different feelings we can have and how we should always be able to talk to someone about how we feel - whether it's happy, sad, worried or excited! #HelloYellow 💛💛💛
This week we have been doing exercise circuits in Reception to complete our minutes for European School Sports Day. We did each exercise for one minute using a sandtimer. 🙂🏃🏃🏻♀️#BeActive @NWCPEA_Official
After saying our words for the world, we decided to sing the song 'This Is Me' and show our self-portraits to celebrate how we are all unique and special individuals. 🙂🌍👩🏻🤝👨🏼 #CLPEWordsForTheWorld#thisisme
The Reception children have settled into their new classroom brilliantly. This week we have been talking about our school bee values, as well as making bees using paint and collage to put on display. Well-done, Reception!
