@marionumber4 I don't mind Christianity serving as a moral compass considering how many high-functioning retards we have living in our midst. Good to know that fear of a god gives them restraint.
@Oscar29477@narcoinsfc No, because we wouldn't do anything stupid that'd detract from the greatest event on the planet. Only American exceptionalism and narcissism would do that.
@Oscar29477@narcoinsfc During those 15 minutes I'll typically watch the studio, where they analyse the match. What I watch is of secondary concern, though, the quality of the match comes first.
@Oscar29477@narcoinsfc Football is fun. Football fans want to see football. A half time show and ad breaks in the middle of each half have no elements of fun. It's simply American opportunism.
@kwebeam@outdoorsliving9@narcoinsfc Football fans want football, it really is that simple. Extending the break just risks impacting the flow and state of the match.
American opportunism is all it is. Perhaps you're conditioned to it, but it shouldn't be acceptable in the world cup.
@kwebeam@outdoorsliving9@narcoinsfc Why have it at all? Players and fans are conditioned to 15 minutes. It has been 15 minutes for, what, 130 years? Hardly any football fan cares about a half time show. It's just more American opportunism being infused into the WC, same as the ad breaks. No real person wants that.
@Smartw8r@narcoinsfc I have absolutely no interest in ever travelling to the US. I just hope the football fans present will boo the farce that is a half time show at the world cup. With some luck they won't all be american corporate slaves and social status farmers.
