SENATOR FRANCIS FADAHUNSI’S INCENDIARY RHETORIC AHEAD OF THE OSUN ELECTION
I wish to express my deep regret, and profound concern regarding the recent inflammatory comments and threat-laden rhetoric attributed to Senator Francis Fadahunsi in the lead-up to the Osun State election on Saturday.
As a high-ranking lawmaker representing the people in the National Assembly, Senator Fadahunsi carries a solemn constitutional and moral responsibility to promote peace, uphold democratic norms, and foster unity. It is therefore alarming and unacceptable that a distinguished senator would deploy intimidation, incendiary remarks, or political threats capable of heightening tensions, instilling fear in voters, and potentially inciting electoral violence in Osun State.
Elections are meant to be a celebration of democratic franchise - a peaceful exercise through which citizens freely choose their leaders without intimidation, harassment, or coercion. Resorting to threats of force or disruption undermines the integrity of our electoral process, disrespects the electorate, and threatens the fragile peace of the state.
I therefore respectfully demand that Senator Fadahunsi retract these harmful statements and tender an apology to the peaceful people of Osun State.
All political leaders, stakeholders, and party loyalists across party lines must exercise the utmost restraint, moderate their language, and recommit themselves to peace and democratic decorum.
The relevant security agencies must closely monitor inflammatory statements and ensure equal protection for all citizens, election officials, and voters before, during, and after the polls.
The democratic mandate belongs to the people, and no individual, regardless of status or political office, should attempt to subvert the will of the people through fear or coercion.
I urge the good people of Osun State to remain calm, peaceful, and resolute as they exercise their constitutional civic duty at the polls.
Getting elections right is a necessary step towards a New Nigeria that is POssible. -PO
Politicians don't like people that tell th the truth 🤣🤣🤣🤣
They like people that will always agree with their method. Once your start disagreeing with their decisions, you will be termed an enemy instantly
Most politicians are deluded
Allegedly, this my guy was accused by the wife of molesting their daughter.
He was allegedly arrested by men of @policeAnambraNG, Awada Division on Tuesday.
Allegedly he was tortured to death on Friday morning and allegedly dumped at General Hospital, Onitsha. His body is allegedly full of wounds and scars.
How can someone die in the hands of @PoliceNG, all in the name of torture and dumped like a fowl? Till this evening, they are not saying anything that is making sense.
This is a human being for God's sake!!
He is supposed innocent until proved otherwise by a competent court of Law. Why beat him instead of charging him to court?
Why wasn't he charged to court in over 48hrs?
Jesus Christ!!!
We dey same team, he is our Chairman, and we even get match tomorrow morning!!
The kain death we dey see for this country ehh.

Any attempt to curb insecurity and kidnapping that does not focus on verification of Okada riders is bound to fail.
The Okada Riders association chairmen are just figureheads with zero care for public or drivers safety. What they care about is “ticket” and revenue.
A law has to bind commercial okadas to operate only at the LGA that they are registered.
The riders have to also go through rigorous verification before being issued a license.
Someone from the community must also stand as a guarantor for them before they are issued permit to use okada for commercial purposes.
Politics is not what I am known for.
I am an authority when it comes to relationships or marriages.
But political decisions or choices affect leadership.
And when leadership is poor, men and women are less interested in getting married and raising a family.
Or some would use it as an excuse to steal, harm others or go into fraud.
I have looked at all the presidential candidates that we have today, and I see that potential in the persons of Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso.
I won't always discuss politics because I don't like it, and it creates enemies unnecessarily.
But I have seen a high level of poverty and shock in the numbers of persons that have been begging for money to survive from close families and friends.
And I know it's because of our economy.
An economy led by President Tinubu.
I have seen wives lose their husbands in a large scale like never seen before due to insecurity.
I have seen mothers and wives decide to prostitute themselves because they have to feed their children.
I have seen parents enable their children to go into fraud and prostitution because of our harsh economy.
I cannot continue to teach people on how to maintain a healthy relationship or marriage, while their pockets cannot sustain it and their children are hungry.
I want to promote someone that gives hope to the ordinary Nigerians and has a track record.
Do not be distracted by my political posts in recent times.
I am doing it because I am concerned with our future.
The suffering is too much for a country as rich as Nigeria.
And we have leaders who do not show empathy.
Rather, they politicize the level of insecurity and massive corruption as a political witch-hunt.
Greed and quest for power is the bane.
Poverty weaponization is the catalyst.
Religion and tribe are the result.
You young Nigerians must see these things for what they are.
Your mates in countries where they have elected good politicians are getting married very early and raising their families.
But you're still begging for recharge card, doing yahoo and olosho on tik tok and IG.
This is not the life that was promised to you by these greedy politicians.
Take back your country.
End.
"While efforts were being made to take him into custody, Asp Nuhu Usman discharged his firearm"
Bro this is what we wont do, we wont PR our way to make this look less gruesome than it already is.
The boy was bound, and no efforts were being made to take him into custody.
ASP usman executed him in cold blood and broad light.
While members of his team stood and watched.
What breaks me is the lack of humanity that these officers showed, no one could even step up to stop usman from killing that kid.
They stood there making side comments, and even helped lift his already limp body into the sienna like a rag doll..
So what we wouldn't do is PR our way out of this evil act.
ASP usman murdered a NIgerian before our eyes.
And that is how it should be reported so you all know the gravity of the evil one of yours committed.
