We've all I imagine questioned the continued selection of Jordan Henderson for England at various points over the last couple of years...
Me personally? I love Henderson, but I personally wanted Wharton to go. I thought his forward-thinking, brave passing would have been a real asset off the bench.
But then you hear Jude Bellingham and Morgan Rogers, two young stars with the world at their feet, calling Jordan Henderson "probably the best person they've ever come across in football."
How could Tuchel not take a character like that?
Shout-out Hendo, what a man!
England's opening game is in 6 days time and we all need to prepare... for watching Three Lions games with people of a different generation...
We are all going to hear a lot of; "why is Harry Kane dropping so deep?" "He needs to be in the box!" "Lineker didn't do that!"
I have prepared a script for you to use in that eventuality...
1) Dad (it is generally Dads)... we have a bit of an Argentina/Messi situation, where our best goalscorer is also our best passer
2) Harry Kane has done this throughout this season.
3) He ended up scoring 61 goals in 51 games in 25/26... he knows what he's doing
4) And... more importantly... Bayern scored 184 goals in 55 games... he was the central pillar of the most devastating attack in Europe... making those he played alongside better!
So if he's still dropping deep in the 75th minute with the score at 0-0... can we please not all collectively panic...
Back the player that has scored 26 more goals than any other England player IN HISTORY!
