Sure, Hudson Yards in NYC or Navy Yard in DC, but aside from master planned redevelopments... I can't think of a single street that transformed like this with no coordination.

Kalamazoo, Michigan has been making their streets safer by decreasing motor vehicle lanes, building bike lanes, and adding other amenities.

Since these changes, injury crashes have dropped by 100% and downtown has become a place for spending time in, not just driving through.
