Why is Nick having a go at Lisa? Makes no sense. Sarah is guilty and confessed. Pointless, not to mind heartless when her daughter is in hospital. #Corrie
Why have a nicely set up arrest scene for a surprise and then pre-release the surprise element of who was arrested @itvcorrie ? We do not need to see the best bits before they screen. Really starting to annoy me now. #Corrie
Well done to Sydney and Liam for tonight's episode. I wish there hadn't been so many spoilers etc., but it was still powerful to watch. The pub scene of the youngsters was spot on. Distracting white make-up the only low point. #Corrie
Reviews I've seen (not behind pay walls) of @pitlochryft Lear are remiss in lack of praise to Mercy Ojelade's Kent and Dylan Reid's Edgar. I've never seen a more believable devoted Kent and the physical transformation of Edgar to Poor Tom, testing, developing his being - sublime!
Not sure this was meant for me @VixMyers . I definitely said not to reply. Perhaps DS Connor-Swain does not take kindly to orders from temporary DI ?! Now I'm going to have to send a made-up cast card when my right shoulder makes its debut appearance in 'Counsels'.
@lewstringer Yes. No sense of what it really takes to prove a case with such huge ramifications either. If they wanted to take the issue itself seriously, the difficulty in proving a case is a huge part of it. It's not as if that couldn't have been made dramatic enough for soap.
Beth Nixon has done a great job as Megan in #Corrie I look forward to seeing what she goes on to next. Apart from her performance, the court case was all a bit naff. No continuity with what we already knew was evidenced, or the green bean's new info. All just on Will's word.
Austentatious at the Whitehall Theatre, Dundee last night: Georgian Shore was a laugh a second, even though half the audience had never watched Geordie Shore. Cariad's Ms. Mouse soon had us up to speed. The hazards of courting in church pews, cautionary tales of loosing one's
shirt, or shoe, to Lord William Hill, and the importance of female bonding over mani-pedis, just some of the issues Austen addresses in this seminal work. The female performers eclipsed the male on this occasion, but so it should be. Kevin Keegan and Argos knew the limelight was
@DuncanLindsay The look at Liam for mentioning "Lorraine" in tonight's episode made me realise that he's become one of my favourite characters in Emmerdale.
