@ENGL1102_JJung Yeah it definitely put an ideology/concept around something I had always tried to achieve. This paper will definitely help me in the future in identifying ambiguity in my writing.
#1102VictoriansInCyberspace Shoutout to my awesome artifact 3 group members! I felt we all worked together very well and I couldn't have asked for a better group to wrap up this final artifact. Thanks for making the project fun and insightful!
#1102VictoriansInCyberspace#G3 The actual group 3 (rip) analyzed machinarium as a commentary on Victorian class, possibly challenging the developers assertion that the game is mere comedy
#1102VictoriansInCyberspace Group 3 analyzed the role of maritime trade and imperialism in Victorian trade through the eyes of the sailing-based game Sunless Sea
#VictoriansinCyberspace#G3 I felt the Deponia group did a good job including proper and relevant clips, but the audio of the clips was sometimes jarring in comparison to the commentary
#VictoriansinCyberspace#G3 Group 1 analyses how Deponia reflects the class structure of the Victorian era through the main character Rufus and the interactivity present in the video game medium
@english_mm I think it would be an exaggeration to say that developers (assuming you mean video game developers) are trying to make their historical games as accurate as possible. I think they try to do so up to the point that it hinders the underlying game mechanics.
